Scars
Scars are where once the skin was pierced deepWounds were formed and blood did seepThe wounds with time the damage did healBut left a reminder- agonies recollection feel
There are wounds inflicted on the heartSituation and circumstance cause the tear oft to startTime the wound does heal but the scar still remainsPeople, incidents and events bring shadows of former pain
When situations come- bringing yesterdays memoriesArriving without warning, coming so suddenlyGod has given us a promise to bring relief to our soulHis way is so simple, all our burdens to roll
